Methodology
The selection process to become one of Outside Magazine's 2014 “Best Places to Work” is a two-part process. The first part involves a questionnaire completed by the employer, outlining benefits and company policies. The second part is completed by the company’s employees, measuring engagement and satisfaction. Results are analyzed according to the project’s eight Core Focus Areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training, Development and Resources, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Engagement.
