Cloudbeds Partners with Bud and Breakfast to Extend Distribution to Cannabis-Friendly Tourism
San Diego, California (PRWEB) June 08, 2015 -- Cloudbeds has partnered with Bud and Breakfast to give hoteliers access to the world’s leading cannabis tourism online travel agency (OTA). Cloudbeds' customers can now list their empty inventory on Bud and Breakfast. This increases the number of cannabis-friendly properties available to guests on the OTA.
"Integration with myallocator is an important step for Bud and Breakfast and all cannabis friendly accommodation owners,” said Andy Rose, CTO of Bud and Breakfast. “Marijuana tourism is an exploding business. Myallocator makes it easy for owners to list properties with multiple channels and let go of calendar management.”
Myallocator by Cloudbeds is the industry’s leading channel manager for independent properties. It has more integrated channels than any other channel manager on the market. This gives hoteliers the freedom to list their inventory with previously unknown online marketplaces.
Myallocator is part of Cloudbeds’ suite of hospitality management software. It includes myfrontdesk, a property management system, and mybookings, a commission-free booking engine.
“We’re constantly on the lookout for new ways to increase distribution for our properties,” said Richard Castle, COO of Cloudbeds. “We want to give our customers the easiest way to sell their rooms on as many marketplaces as possible. Niche OTAs, like Bud and Breakfast, are part of a growing segment of travel agencies that cater to specific consumer interests.”
Bud and Breakfast is the world’s first travel portal for cannabis tourism. It matches guests with cannabis-friendly properties around the world. Guests seek these places to safely and legally enjoy cannabis for recreational or medical use.
Cannabis tourism is ballooning in popularity. Travel interest has risen in Washington State and Colorado by 51% and 61%, respectively, since cannabis became legal in those states. This is according to an Expedia press release from last April.
