Clovernook Country Club Announces New Head Golf Professional

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) March 01, 2014 -- Clovernook Country Club is pleased to welcome Harry Alexander as their new Head Golf Professional.

Mr. Alexander, a Class A member of the PGA since 1987 and brings with him over 25 years of experience. A Cincinnati native, Harry is a graduate of Taylor High School, where he is a member of their Hall of Fame, and attended Northern Kentucky University on a Golf Scholarship (1977-1981). Most recently, Mr. Alexander served as the Head Golf Professional at Miami Whitewater Forest in Harrison, Ohio since 1991.

An advocate for growing the game of golf, Mr. Alexander served as The Greater Cincinnati PGA Junior Golf Chairman from 1990-2006. Other career accomplishments include, four-time winner of the Southern Ohio PGA Junior Golf Leader Award, nominated for Southern Ohio PGA Golf Professional of the Year in 2012 and in 2009 was selected as the Top 50 Junior Golf Instructor’s in America by the US Kids Golf Company. As Harry begins his tenure as only the sixth Head Golf Professional in Clovernook’s 90 plus year history, his goal to encourage and promote new, former, and occasional golfers to play more golf is key to the continued growth of Clovernook’s passionate golfing membership.

Established in 1923, Clovernook is celebrating over 90 years as Cincinnati’s most family friendly private country club. Characterized by large undulating greens and manicured fairways, Clovernook is a classic course and a true test for golfers of every skill level.
