CMD Announces Spring Economic Webcast: Will Construction Pick Up the Pace or the Pieces?
ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) April 13, 2015 -- CMD, one of the leading providers of construction information in North America, today announced its spring economic webcast, “Will Construction Pick Up the Pace or the Pieces?” The complimentary webcast will feature industry-leading chief economists, Kermit Baker of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Ken Simonson of The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and Alex Carrick of CMD and will take place at 2:30 p.m. EDT on April 30.
“U.S. employment is surging, energy prices are plummeting and the high-tech sector is spreading its influence everywhere,” said Alex Carrick, U.S. chief economist for CMD. “Cyclical improvement in the economy will stimulate on-site work, but owners contemplating investments are facing a new dilemma — whether to build square footage or conduct business over the internet.”
