CNA Presents World of Recreational Water Foundation with $25,000 Donation
LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) November 10, 2015 -- Property and casualty company insurance carrier CNA presented The World of Recreational Water Foundation (WRW) with a $25,000 donation on Nov. 9, at the 2015 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in Las Vegas.
To date, CNA has donated a total of $125,000 to the Foundation.
WRW’s mission is to foster the safe and responsible use of scare water resources and represent, defend and promote the sustainable use of recreational water. The foundation supports research into the conservation and energy-efficient use of recreational water, and underwrites education and training to advance recreational water environments for pools, spas and hot tubs worldwide. The WRW is the charitable foundation of The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP).
“CNA is proud to support The World of Recreational Water Foundation and its mission to promote and implement the sustainable use of recreational water,” said John Tatum, senior vice president, Middle Markets, CNA. “We are committed to helping sustain our planet’s most important resources and the training to advance sustainable practices for pools, spas and hot tubs by the Foundation is unlike any other.”
“Because of CNA’s donation, the World of Recreational Water Foundation was able to make a contribution to the efforts to educate the aquatic industry, policy makers and the public on California drought issues,” APSP President and CEO Rich Gottwald said. “Thanks to CNA’s ongoing support, The World of Recreational Water Foundation has been able to create resources that educate a widespread audience on the recreational and environmental benefits of pools and hot tubs.”
