Shake-A-Vel is a rapper from Brooklyn, NY. Shake-A-Vel led a hard life before redirecting his energy to focus on music. As a young man he led a life of delinquency, breaking the law to appease his hunger for money. Though he had a future as a promising basketball player, he could not break his need to steal and sell drugs to make quick cash, which after making a name for himself as a street hustler led into confrontation with other drug dealers and criminals leaving Shake-A-Vel shot, stabbed, and in jail. Though he survived these horrible life situations, the in and out of jail and fending for his life on the streets caught up with Shake-A-Vel.
After serving three years in jail, Shake decided to devote his life to music. He found a team who believes in his talent and supports him, keeping him focused on being the King of New York.
