COCM Portfolio Expands Addition of the University of Massachusetts Boston and the University of South Florida.
Birmingham, Alabama (PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- COCM is once again expanding its portfolio of on-campus managed housing with the addition two new campus partners: The University of South Florida (“USF”) and the University of Massachusetts Boston (“UMass Boston”). With the addition of these campuses, the COCM portfolio expands to 33 campuses and more than 26,000 beds.
COCM’s partnership with USF is a shared governance arrangement, for a new residential community of almost 2,000 beds. The new housing, being developed by Capstone Development Partners, will be completed in two phases, with 885 beds opening in the fall of 2017 and an additional 1,111 beds in . This live-work-play residential village will be a transformative addition to the USF campus, located in Tampa, Florida.
COCM’s partnership with UMass Boston, also under a shared governance arrangement, is for its first on-campus housing community. The new residential community, also being developed by Capstone Development Partners, will open in the fall of 2018 and house approximately 1,000 UMass Boston students.
