Fred Towles professionally known as Fredee Towles, releases his first single in three decades. The new single “Laugh” features The Funk of Dale-Phonics. The single is distributed through Average Joes Entertainment Group's Senior Vice President, Steven Johnson’s independent label Cocoas Entertainment under the AJE umbrella. The single marks the labels first urban/pop single release of 2016 that is produced by multi-platinum seller and Grammy nominated Dale Ramsey of Ramtrax Entertainment, also known as The Funk of Dale Phonics and music artist Freddee Towles. In style, the single takes elements of R&B, Funk and World Sound. Fredee Towles is known for his Billboard hits “Too Much Monkey Business” and “Hook It to the Mule”.
ABOUT FREDEE TOWLES
Fred Towles first hit the music scene in 1968 with the release of “Too Much Monkey Business”. This single was released on the No Way Out record company headed and owned by the NFL Hall of Famer, Jim Brown and was distributed by MGM Records a division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., the single “Too Much Monkey Business” placed at number #3 on the Billboard Charts. The single “Hook It to the Mule” with The Jacksonians followed it. After a stint with No Way Out Records, Fred then unsigned, caught the attention of industry executive Anna Gordy Gaye the sister of Berry Gordy and ex-wife of Grammy winner Marvin Gaye, who eventually managed Fred Towles. Through these affiliations and his talent, Fred went on to share the stage with entertainment legends Rod Stewart, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Aerosmith, Buddy Miles, Elvin Bishop, Al Cooper, Sly and The Family Stone, Buddy Guy and Jr. Wells, Albert King, Cactus and J Giles.
