Coker Group Introduces Comprehensive Clinical Documentation Programs
Alpharetta, Ga (PRWEB) August 06, 2015 -- As accurate clinical documentation remains a top concern for hospitals, Coker Group has developed Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) programs to help improve this process. These comprehensive services address the primary requirements for improving clinical documentation, including the development of functional systems, such as clinical documentation specialists; education and training; and the proper technology. To assist in the effort, Coker Group has added Annette Sullivan, RHIA, as a Senior Manager to support their strategic and operational services with a focus on CDI programs. Sullivan brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience to the firm.
With her extensive healthcare background, Sullivan will head Coker’s CDI programs. Additionally, given her breadth of knowledge and expertise, she will work in other strategic and operational service areas within Coker, such as coding, medical staff credentialing for hospitals and healthcare systems, and inpatient EMR services.
Prior to joining Coker, Sullivan held several leadership roles with Palmetto Health, a not-for-profit healthcare system out of Columbia, South Carolina. Her most recent position was System Director of Health Information, Revenue Integrity, where she led system CDI initiatives, guided coding functions, and maintained the integrity of the revenue cycle.
