Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties Adds New Agents to its Professional Real Estate Staff in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York
Margaretville, New York (PRWEB) June 28, 2014 -- Gilbert Hirscher of Jefferson, Leighton Ashley of Oliveria, Shawn Dacey of Delhi, and Travis O’Dell of Hancock have recently joined Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties as licensed real estate agents.

Gil Hirscher was born in Stamford and lived in the area until his family moved to Connecticut while he was a child. After graduating with degrees in Accounting and Theatre from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, he has been a member of one of the Big Four accounting firms, a contractor to the Navy and the Air Force and as a real estate agent in North Carolina. He recently to the Catskill Mountains to be his own leader helping people find homes for their present and future.
A native of Jamaica, Leighton Ashley brings over thirty years of local and international marketing expertise to the real estate business. During his career, he has marketed handcrafted products, premium leisure apparel, gourmet coffee, as well as ethnic and specialty foods from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
Travis O’Dell graduated from Roscoe Central School in 2003 and earned degrees in Fishery and Wildlife Technology and Wildlife Management the State University of New York at Cobleskill. Since 2010, he and his family have lived on a 100-acre family farm in the Town of Hancock. O’Dell is a hobby farmer, raising Icelandic sheep, pastured pigs, and free-range chickens with a commitment toward sustainable agricultural practices. He enjoys fishing, hunting, kayaking, and hiking, and is a member of the Basket Historical Society of the Upper Delaware Valley.
A 2009 graduate of Delaware Academy in Delhi, Shawn Dacey remained in the area and earned a dual degree in geography and education from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 2013. He has traveled extensively, visiting over thirty countries. While his adventures ranged from hiking the jagged peaks of Korea, to exploring ancient cities in Central Asia, to enjoying opera in Russia, The Catskill Mountains continued to draw Shawn home.
