Collaborative Task Manager MeisterTask Releases Add-in for Microsoft Outlook Mobile
Munich, Germany (PRWEB) September 08, 2017 -- German software developer MeisterLabs is proud to announce a new integration between its flagship product MeisterTask and Microsoft Outlook. After releasing a MeisterTask add-in for Outlook’s web and desktop versions earlier this year, MeisterLabs now follows up with an add-in for Outlook on iOS and Android that enables users to turn emails into tasks with just a few taps.
In 2017, more email is read on mobile than on desktop email clients*. Many professionals use their commute to work to respond to urgent messages and to get a head start in their effort towards inbox zero. To ensure that important action items contained within emails don’t fall through the cracks, workers can now connect their Outlook account to MeisterTask, and save those emails efficiently into their task management system, without ever leaving Outlook.

With a few quick taps, workers can select which project and section the task should be inserted in. The add-in automatically turns the email’s subject line into the task name, while the email’s content is added as the task description. When they’re ready, workers can then switch to MeisterTask’s web, desktop, or mobile app to further edit the task details, assign the task to a team member, or to add tags, checklist items or a due date to it.
