Columbia, South Carolina (PRWEB) August 13, 2014 -- Collins & Lacy, P.C. is pleased to announce Janie Langdale has been selected to join Leadership Columbia. Sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Columbia (LC) program provides existing and emerging leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge and network.
“As a transplant to Columbia, I am constantly discovering more about what makes this thriving city such a special place to live,” said Langdale. “I look forward to connecting with other professionals who share a passion for Columbia while developing my leadership skills and talents to better impact our community.”
For 41 years, the Leadership Columbia program has helped participants better understand how the community works, build relationships with the region’s current and future leaders, and become inspired to focus their talents in a way that will best serve Columbia.
Langdale is the Communications Manager at Collins & Lacy, where she helps create and implement strategic marketing initiatives for new and existing clients. She produces internal and external communications and designs collateral materials that reflect the firm’s client-focused business values. Prior to joining Collins & Lacy, Langdale worked more than five years as the Art Director at a local advertising firm developing inspired brands and producing award-winning advertising campaigns for a wide range of clients.
Langdale serves the community as a member of Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), the Junior League of Columbia, and is Co-Programming Chair of Legal Marketing Association of the Southeast Columbia Chapter (LMASE). She is a summa cum laude graduate of Auburn University, where she majored in Graphic Design.
