Colonial Athletic Association Providing Military Personnel and First Responders Tickets to Championship
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) February 12, 2015 -- The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) is pleased to announce that all military personnel and first responders will receive free admission to the 2015 CAA Men’s Basketball Championship. The CAA returns to Baltimore from March 6-9, 2015 at the Royal Farms Arena.
All active duty service members, retirees, Reservists and National Guards will receive a free ticket at the box office with proper ID. All police, fire and EMT’s will also receive free admission. Family and friends of military personnel and first responders as well as any government employees can purchase tickets at the half-price $10 rate. “We want to thank our military and first responders for their service,” said CAA Commissioner Tom Yeager. “These brave men and women work very high-stress jobs, and we hope these tickets allow them to relax and have some fun watching the championship.”
Over the course of four days, 10 CAA teams will compete for the championship title along with an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. The CAA includes reigning tournament champion University of Delaware, College of Charleston, Drexel University, Elon University, Hofstra University, James Madison University, University of North Carolina Wilmington, Northeastern University, Towson University and the College of William and Mary.
