The STS games are a partnership with the USAA to raise money and awareness for three different military focused nonprofit groups: the USO, the Pat Tillman Foundation, and the Wounded Warrior Project. For every point scored in each of these 32 games, the USAA will donate $100 to each of these three foundations.
In conjunction with the Salute to Service games, the USAA is also giving out the Salute to Service Award to members of the NFL who have displayed exceptional efforts to both honor and support service members and veterans.
