Columbus, Georgia's Growing Technology Scene Profiled in Hub Magazine
Atlanta, Georgia. (PRWEB) February 25, 2015 -- The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently profiled the emerging technology communities of Columbus, Georgia in the latest issue of Hub Magazine.
The article, entitled “Columbus, Georgia: Banking on Innovation” appears in the latest issue which focused on the state’s Financial Technology sector. The industry in Georgia produces more than $34 Billion annually, and employs 25,000 in the state and over 135,000 globally.
Columbus, Georgia has long been a key financial center in the state. The region is home to a diverse community of FinTech-enabled companies that includes well known insurance and banking brands like AFLAC and Synovus, as well as newcomers Delta Data and Omega Fi.
Communities profiled in the magazine’s Hub City section are able to showcase the unique attributes, businesses, endeavors and successes that make them a “Hub City” for technology in Georgia.
The latest issue of Hub Magazine was unveiled in front of a crowd of contributors and sponsors at a special ceremony on February 18th at the Herman Miller Showroom in Atlanta’s Midtown West area.
