According to LimaOhio, the metro Columbus area was particularly successful in reducing fatal operating a vehicle impaired, or OVI-related crashes, with Franklin County reporting 15 fatal accidents in 2013. A total of 35 were reported in 2012, the article said.
“While it’s certainly good news that fatalities in the Columbus area and throughout Ohio fell drastically in 2013, drivers must remember that the 15 fatalities reported in Franklin County are still 15 too many.
