To decide the winning outcome, the finalists in each category were voted upon by a panel of five judges, along with a sixth judge, which comprised more than 11,000 online votes for Best-in-Category via Paybefore.com. Loraine DeBonis, Paybefore editor-in-chief and chair of the judging panel noted that an industry is only as good as its innovators.
