Comfort & Harmony™ Weighs in on Possible Lifelong Social Benefits of Breastfeeding, Makes Breastfeeding Easier with mombo™ Nursing Pillow Available at Babies “R” Us
(PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- Babies who were breastfed may be more likely to climb the social ladder, said a study reported on by LiveScience (6.24.13). The team at Comfort & Harmony™, makers of the mombo™ nursing pillows, are proud to have a product that can help moms give their children what may be the best start in life.
The new study suggests breastfeeding enhances brain development, which boosts brainpower, which in turn increases upwards social mobility.
According to LiveScience, researchers compared the social class of 34,000 people at the age of 33 or 34 with that of their fathers when they were children. The study looked at social changes affecting groups of people either born in 1958 or in 1970.
The study found that those who had been breast-fed were more likely to have moved up the social hierarchy as adults. This was defined as having a job of higher social status than their fathers. In addition, the study apparently found that breast-feeding increased upward social mobility by 24% and reduced the chance of moving downward by 20%.
The mombo nursing pillow makes breastfeeding easier and more comfortable for both mom and child. In addition to having a unique shape that helps maximize physical closeness, the mombo has a unique two-sided design called Firm2Soft™. The firm side provides support for both baby and mom. The other side of the pillow is the soft side and it’s designed for lounging, tummy time and sitting up.
The mombo nursing pillow comes in a diverse assortment of slipcovers that range from solid colors and patterns. mombo pillows can be color-coordinated and customized.
