Community Medical Oncologist Expands Practice to Offer Direct Primary Adult Care, Preventive & Wellness Medical Services
Lake Charles, Louisiana (PRWEB) December 16, 2013 -- Many are aware of the adverse impact changes to healthcare, such as sequestration, increased pricing of chemotherapy agents, drug shortages, and decreased Medicare reimbursement, has had on the ability of a medical community oncologist to provide care in an out-patient setting. Over the past few years, hundreds of community oncologists, like Dr. Henry J. (“Trip”) Goolsby, a local community medical oncologist, have either retired or joined the employment of larger groups and hospitals. Many have determined the cost of continuing to independently provide cancer care is just no longer tenable.
However, with change comes opportunity. After over twenty years of practicing community medical oncology and hematology Dr. Goolsby has decided to enhance his services by also providing direct primary and preventive/wellness care to adults (Age 18 and up) in order to continue to provide quality patient-centric care. Dr. Goolsby is Certified in Elite Health Age Management, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
For as low as $10 per visit plus a monthly fee, adult patients will receive comprehensive primary medical services. He will also provide a full range of other medical services not usually covered by insurance contracts, such as health information updates, and coordination of specialty care services. Patients will still need medical insurance for emergency room visits, hospitalization, specialists, prescriptions, and tests, etc.
Additionally Dr. Goolsby provides:
• A Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician, with over twenty years of experience, and a well-respected team committed to a high level of care and service;
• A serene spa-like environment conducive to optimal health outcomes;
• Quality appointments where your questions and concerns are addressed in a respectful, courteous and unhurried manner;
• No bills for medical services, no deductibles, no hassle;
• Personalized reception;
• Communication via telephone, fax, email, and Skype.
Dr. Goolsby is also thrilled to announce “The Infinite Life” program for those seeking to optimize their health by creating a fuller and longer life. The Infinite Life program is based on the current approaches of the American Age Management Medical Society. To more fully explain this program, on January 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., Dr. Goolsby will be presenting The Infinite Life Series: 3 Ways to Virile, Vigorous & Vital Health.
