Based on data collected by CompareMyMobile around the release of the iPad 4 and original iPad Mini last year, the site believe that consumers need to trade-in old devices quickly. Following the release of the devices on 2nd November 2012, iPad models saw a drop of up to 11.11 percent in trade-in value, due to the huge number of iPad tablets being sent into recyclers.
