Complimentary Veteran Program Featuring Mentoring Software to Premiere in Las Vegas, Nevada
Des Moines, IA (PRWEB) June 24, 2015 -- Prositions, Inc. will be premiering complimentary veteran access to its patent-pending social collaboration software, MentorString, at the 2015 Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Conference and Exposition. The annual conference, held June 28 through July 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the world’s largest gathering of HR professionals attracting over 15,000 attendees.
A study on career benefits for mentors, published by the Journal of Vocational Behavior, found strong positive correlations that mentors were more satisfied with their jobs, more committed to their organizations, and had higher work performance than those who did not mentor. This study shows that the benefits of mentoring programs go beyond the mentee to positively impact the organization and mentors as well. Prositions’ ProVeteran program and its flagship cloud application, MentorString, provide a way for organizations to bring those benefits to their veteran population through virtual technology.
