Computer Design & Integration LLC (CDI LLC) to Spin-off CDI Southeast
Teterboro, NJ (PRWEB) December 11, 2015 -- Computer Design & Integration LLC (CDI LLC) and Computer Design & Integration Southeast LLC (CDI Southeast) today announced that they have mutually approved a plan to spin off CDI Southeast from CDI LLC, seeing their five-year joint venture plan to fruition. This transaction will result in two independent, highly-focused private companies.
The spin-off allows CDI LLC to redirect its investments in its cloud and managed services annuity business efforts. The company will continue to direct its growth initiatives on the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, while the former CDI Southeast will focus on the North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida markets—a strategy designed to drive greater value for both businesses.
The deal is expected to close by end of calendar quarter Q116. Trish Bakker and Eric Bakker will continue as CEO and President, respectively, of CDI LLC, while Dave Brown, President of CDI Southeast, will lead the new entity. Both companies will continue to partner with industry-leading technology partners, including EMC, Cisco, VMware, HP and others. Although no longer part of the same business organization, the two companies will maintain a synchronous relationship within the IT marketplace.
