Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 06, 2014 -- Concept Capital Markets, LLC is pleased to announce that Michael Tumulty has joined the firm as Managing Director – Operations Administration and Client Support. Mike is a seasoned brokerage executive with a great deal of experience working with alternative investment managers, and in his new position with Concept Capital will work with our existing team to further refine and improve the firm’s prime brokerage offering and the service level we deliver to our clients.
Mike comes to Concept Capital from Lazard Capital Markets, LLC, where he served for more than four years, most recently as Director – Prime Services, and headed up the client service and product development team for the firm’s prime brokerage group. In this role Mike worked closely with alternative investment managers, their CFOs and COOs, providing them the brokerage, operational, and reporting solutions that facilitated the management of their portfolios and investment management businesses. Prior to Lazard, Mike held positions at Merrill Lynch (2003-2008) and Bear Stearns (1986-2003), among other firms. At Merrill Lynch Mike served as a senior relationship manager in Merrill Lynch Prime Services. He was also responsible for client service and the development of the hedge fund start-up services group. At Bear Stearns Mike was a Managing Director and was responsible for the management of the global client service team for prime brokerage.
