Concepts NREC to Exhibit and Present at Turbomachinery/Pump Symposia
White River Junction, VT, USA (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- Concepts NREC (CN), a world leader in turbomachinery design and development, is announcing today that it will exhibit at the 42nd Turbomachinery Symposium / 29th Pump Symposium in Booth #814, October 1-3, 2013 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.
At this event Dr. David Japikse, CEO of CN, will be holding presentations and a Q&A on the Advanced Pump and Compressor Consortium for Diffuser and Volute Design. This year, CN has launched Phase VI of this highly-successful Consortium, obtaining 14 Sponsors in the first round and initiating work in June. “Advanced diffuser design is essential for meeting the demands of today's marketplace and the results of this program will be applicable across the board for all turbomachinery - particularly high performance pumps and compressors,” says Japikse.

Also, CN Lead Software Engineering Trainer / Project Manager, Dr. Shuo Li, will be presenting “Your Complete Turbomachinery Design Solution — Concepts NREC’s Agile Engineering Design System®” on the Symposia’s Turbo Stage on Wednesday, October 2nd at 5:00 PM. In this presentation, Li will cover how CN’s AEDS software can provide design engineers everywhere with the tools to create high performance axial and radial turbomachinery from preliminary to detailed design, optimization, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM).
Additionally, CN Engineering Services consultants will be available to discuss the company’s innovations in the development of a modular Organic Rankine Cycle technology platform.
