Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal To Receive Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition’s Leadership Image Award
Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 04, 2017 -- Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition, a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping immigrant families together by providing equal access to justice to immigrant men, women and children at risk of detention and deportation, is pleased to announce that Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal will be the recipient of CAIR Coalition’s 2017 Leadership Image Award for her tireless advocacy on behalf of immigrants throughout the country at a time when many immigrant communities feel under siege.
Congresswoman Jayapal will be presented with the award at Justice for All on October 10, 2017. Justice for All is an event that honors the attorneys, law firms, and community partners who have championed CAIR Coalition’s dedication to immigrants’ rights.
