Connecticut-based Climate Partners Celebrates 75th Anniversary
Milford, CT (PRWEB) June 05, 2014 -- Climate Partners, a Connecticut-based HVAC service, repair, and optimization company founded in 1939 by John and Margaret Casey, is celebrating their 75th year in business.
Formerly known as Casey Fuel, the company originally delivered ice and coal to residents of their hometown of Milford, beginning around the middle of the Great Depression. The Casey family weathered the difficult economic times, and has continued to serve Milford homeowners through three generations.
Current owner Tom Casey comments on their longevity: "Climate Partners is incredibly grateful to our customers for helping to keep us in business for over seven decades. It’s a huge accomplishment but wouldn’t be possible without faithful customers."
By the early 1970s, the company had evolved from mere fuel delivery to providing customers with efficient home heating and cooling solutions. They also provided services for commercial clients, including transport refrigeration services for trucks and trailers.
In 2001, they won the National Residential Contractor of the Year Award. They are not only the only Connecticut company to receive the award, but are also among the most decorated companies in the industry nation-wide, having won 12 awards to date for comfort, quality, and design.
Climate Partners is celebrating their platinum anniversary by offering discounts and specials throughout the year for existing and new customers alike, as a way of saying thank you. "Our goal," says Casey, "Has always been and is to this day to deliver top-notch customer service. That is our greatest pride."
Casey also attributes the company's success to the strength of their staff. Dana Casey, Tom's wife, helps to manage the business, while brother Todd Casey serves as Vice President of Production. Edward Woodhead is their Vice President of Operations. "The fact that Climate Partners has been in business this long throughout so many economic ups and down speaks volumes," says Casey. "We are so proud of our staff, from the service technicians to the sales team."
Climate Partners' anniversary coincides with another milestone -- Milford's 375th anniversary. According to Casey, the work aesthetic of the town is the perfect match for the work aesthetic of his business. “I'm proud to be a part of Milford's heritage, and that my family has been serving the local community for 75 years," he says. "Good old-fashioned, hard-working tradesmen families are a dying breed. It's just not something that's commonplace these days.”
