Develop Inspiration and Fire Up Skills — February 25th
A Rumford Fireplace and Brick Oven workshop hosted by O&G's Masonry Division and sponsored by Superior Clay is scheduled for February 25th. Presenter Dana Martini will cover topics on Fireplace Style & Design, Chimneys, Codes, Construction, Seismic Issues, Performance and Green Fireplace Issues. The program is registered for 3 CEU's. Concrete Proof — February 27th
Concrete 101, sponsored by CT Concrete Promotion Council (CCPC), is an AIA workshop and continuing education program for landscape architects, landscape contractors, architects, engineers, and hardscape professionals. Hosted by O&G's Masonry Division attendees will learn about Concrete 101, Concrete Testing, Architectural Finishes, Unique Concrete Technologies, Chemical and Mineral Admixtures and Sustainable Design for a full-day workshop and 6 CEU’s. According to Jim Langlois, Executive Director of CCPC, “This workshop is a great opportunity for architects to gain knowledge of concrete construction.” Langlois adds, “They will expand their knowledge of how concrete works in residential and commercial construction through designing, specifying and architecturally finishing this unique product.”

Rock On, Mondays with O&G and Friends — April 7th - October 27th
The annual program Rock On, Mondays with O&G and Friends will begin on April 7th. Supplier partners will meet and greet customers every Monday morning while visiting O&G's eight mason stores and showrooms. Meet with a supplier representative to learn about new products and application techniques. Look for weekly schedules available in each store starting April 1st.
IMI Masonry Day Educational Conference — April 14th
O&G's Masonry Division is sponsoring the IMI Masonry Day Educational Conference on April 14th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Cromwell, CT. Stop by booths 30 and 31 in the main exhibit hall. The annual conference features exhibits, vendor presentations and 4 hours of AIA-CES credit on a variety of topics.
