Connecticut's Eastern Regional Tourism District "Mystic Country" Unveils New Foodie Finds and Pet-Friendly Trails Plus Newly Updated Antiques and Sundae Drives Trails
Mystic, CT (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- The Eastern Connecticut Regional Tourism District, also known as Mystic Country, has added two new trail brochures: Foodie Finds and Pet-Friendly. These two new brochures join updated Sundae Drives and Antiques Trail brochures. The trails connect large and small businesses and attractions throughout the 42 town region.
"Mystic Country trails connect visitors and residents to the many businesses and attractions in eastern Connecticut, pointing out both historic gems, unique places, and larger attractions in the area," said Ed Dombroskas, Director of the Eastern CT Regional Tourism District. "The trails are designed to give prospective visitors an easy themed guide of places to visit in our region and encourage exploration into areas not as well known as others."
Foodie Finds reveals some of the spots and specialties that make exploring eastern Connecticut a taste treat for foodies.
Pet-Friendly serves those visitors that travel with their furry friends. Until now, visitors traveling through Mystic Country with pets had to do their own research on accommodations and places to explore with Fido or Kitty.
The Antiques Trail makes exploring the Mystic Country region a treasure hunt dotted with unique and fun things to do along the way.
Sundae Drives is in its 4th edition. It is an ever-popular directory of ice cream places and the attractions close to them.
All four trails are available in brochure format at the Eastern Regional Tourism District office, in State of Connecticut Welcome Centers and brochure racks region-wide. The brochures can be ordered by emailing info(at)mysticcountry(dot)com or calling 860-536-8822. Brochures are also downloadable via the following link: http://ow.ly/q8wEb.
