Farmington, CT (PRWEB) December 07, 2015 -- In April of 2014, Chris Torello was graduating from Connecticut School of Broadcasting's Farmington Campus. In July of 2015, he was saying yes to a job offer for a Reporter Position at the #11 ranked market, Tampa-St Petersburg!Torello, also a Pre-Med/Dentistry undergrad and Masters Degree holder in Athletics at Providence College, says his life took an unexpected turn at the encouragement of his twin Sister Lauren. "My sister came to visit me at College and asked me if I really thought I could see myself in Dentistry for the rest of my life. She urged me to really think about what I love doing, and just go for it! After finishing up my Masters, I started researching Connecticut School of Broadcasting and took the leap.” Today, Chris holds the official position of MMJ/Reporter for Bright House Sports Network and Bay News 9 in Tampa, FL.
Just one year after graduating the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Farmington, CT, Torello reports on all the major teams in the Tampa area. From College to the Pros – he covers the University of South Florida, Florida State, the Tampa Bay Bucs, Tampa Bay Lightening and the Tampa Bay Rays! Torello also covers the daily Sports Minutes for Bay News 9 and News 13 in Orlando. He also credits the many Instructors he had at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Farmington, that currently work in the industry and taught him what he knows. “Instructor Kim Lucey is also a News Reporter at WFSB and she made me understand that no matter the subject – it’s always news and it’s your job to report it.” From shooting, writing and editing as well as reporting, Torello is honing in on all the skills he learned at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
