Connecticut School of Broadcasting Graduate Lands Job at PENN Sports Network
Westbury, NY (PRWEB) January 13, 2016 -- Greg Tanenbaum loves sports, and he knew he always had the talent to talk about sports in front of a camera. He just didn't know how quickly he would be doing it professionally, until his graduation from Connecticut School of Broadcasting's Westbury Campus.
After CSB, Greg was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to call Division 1 games in the Ivy League. He received his first opportunity as the lead Play-by-play Anchor for Columbia Wrestling in the winter of 2014, calling their home matches and conducting interviews with the players and coaches on the Ivy League Digital Network. "It was a lot of fun for me because I wrestled in college from 2009-2013, so I was able to get reconnected with a sport that I love".
Just recently, Greg got a call from the Head of Video Content at the Penn Sports Network, who asked if he would be willing to travel to Philadelphia to call baseball games for The University of Pennsylvania. Greg immediately agreed, and began calling double-headers! Greg is grateful to CSB for the hands on training, "These two opportunities in the Ivy League would not have been possible without the coaching and mentoring I received from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting"
