Connecticut Writer Wins the International L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest and Has Just Sold a Short Story to Galaxy's Edge Magazine
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Brian Trent of Prospect, Connecticut found out in January of 2013 that he had won second place in the 4th quarter of the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest. And since then he has been promoting the fact that he won. Thanks to Brian's networking skills and his win in the contest, he has now sold a short story to Galaxy's Edge Magazine. Trent's short story was selected by multiple award winning science fiction legend Mike Resnick.

Trent has been writing for years and has worked as a professional journalist. His nonfiction writings have additionally graced the cover of The Humanist magazine. He recently completed the second novel in a "future history" series, and when not writing, he works in film.
