Conrad Siegel Investment Advisors President to Deliver Keynote at PA Bar Association Conference

At four events across Pennsylvania, Mashack-Behney will empower women in the legal profession to get a handle on their investing.
Women often live longer and earn less than men, making saving for retirement more of a challenge. Mashack-Behney will discuss overcoming these hurdles to make planning for retirement easier. The conference, designed for legal professionals in all practice areas and employment sectors, will explain the essential building blocks of a solid investment program and how Women in the Profession members can help their own clients understand if they are saving enough.
“On average women are out of the workforce for longer periods of time and are more conservative investors, which puts them at a disadvantage for retirement. To meet their retirement needs women must have a solid investment program,” said Mashack-Behney. “Legal professionals regularly meet with many female clients that aren’t aware of how much they need to be saving for retirement. Equipped with investment knowledge themselves, attendees will better be able to share their insight and describe the importance of developing a long-term program for other women.”
The Commission on Women in the Profession, which was established to involve more women in leadership roles and explore issues affecting women in the law, is the largest committee within the PBA.
