Consolidated Credit Launches Money Mantra Contest to Help People Put Financial Wisdom First
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) December 06, 2016 -- Americans are set to break the dubious record of reaching $1 trillion in credit card debt by the end of the year. Many experts warn this means households are approaching “unsustainable” levels of debt. Holiday shopping isn’t helping with the National Retail Federation reporting consumers plan to increase spending by 3.7% this year.
In response to this trend, Consolidated Credit has created the #MoneyMantra video campaign to help people remember to focus on finance even as the shop during the most expensive shopping season of the year. The campaign is supported by a $100 giveaway. People record a quick video on their mobile device stating their money mantra, and then submit it by emailing it to ccmoneymantra(at)gmail(dot)com.
“Having a positive money mantra can be life changing and helps keep you on the smart money track into the New Year,” says Gary Herman, President of Consolidated Credit. “We hope this contest will encourage people to keep finance at the forefront even as they shop for the holidays.”
Consolidated Credit also had staff record videos with their own personal money mantras to serve as inspiration and samples of what to submit for the giveaway. You can view staff submissions in an instructional video posted on the company’s contest page.

Video submissions will be accepted until 12:00 PM (EST) on December 31st. The winner will be announced through Facebook and the company’s other social networks after the New Year.
