Constellix Announces Three New Features for Sonar Lite Mobile App
Reston, VA (PRWEB) January 28, 2016 -- Sonar Lite, the free mobile monitoring app, has seen an explosion of early adopters in the just the last two weeks since the app was fully launched. With the addition of three new features, Constellix engineers anticipate these numbers to grow exponentially. “Sonar Lite is ushering in a new era of monitoring solutions built for the cloud,” says President of Constellix Steven Job, “now you can monitor your network from dozens of points around the world and truly see your domains from your users’ perspectives.”
New features included in this week’s update include TCP check, HTTP and HTTPS checks.
TCP checks (Transmission Control Protocol) let users monitor their connectivity via six different ports. What makes this check so useful is users can verify connectivity by both IPv4 and IPv6 versions. Users can even specify which monitoring node they want to query from.
“Sonar Lite is the only mobile app that allows you to be this specific when configuring lookups and checks. Now you can truly see from your end-users point of view and pinpoint issues in just a few clicks,” says Job. The other features included in the update, HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and HTTPS checks (HTTP secure) allow users to verify connectivity via these protocols based on location and either IPv6 or IPv4 versions.
“We designed Sonar Lite based on the monitoring needs we had for troubleshooting DNS Made Easy’s network. All of the app’s features are tools we’ve used for the past 14 years to keep DNS Made Easy the historically most reliable Anycast network in the world,” says Job.
