Constellix Sonar Expands Network and Doubles Monitoring Nodes

Reston, VA (PRWEB) August 26, 2016 -- Constellix Sonar, the monitoring component of the Constellix traffic management suite, has expanded its monitoring network. The expansion was the result of an increase in new Sonar clients and heightened demand for new node locations. Previously, Constellix had monitoring nodes in a few dozen critical points of presence around the world.

To meet customer demand, Constellix has more than doubled the number of resources in each location, which will drastically improve performance for monitoring activities. As the new cities are being rolled out, only a subset of clients will be able to use the new locations at first. Constellix has also announced the addition of new monitoring nodes in eight cities:

  • Toronto, Canada
  • Bangalore, India
  • Newark, NJ
  • Fremont, CA
  • San Francisco, CA
  • Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Hanoi, Vietnam

“These expansions will cement Sonar’s position as the leader of all ITOS-based monitoring services. With Sonar, our goal is to engineer the most extensive and precise monitoring suite of all time,” says President of Constellix Steven Job. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to making history in the traffic management industry. A few years ago, sister company DNS Made Easy became the world leader in the DNS industry by implementing proprietary IP Anycast + technology.

As a result of these expansions, clients will begin to notice increased location-based accuracy when gathering performance metrics from monitoring reports. Most notably, Sonar Real-User Monitoring (RUM) provides insights into real time web performance for end-users all over the world. The expansions will make RUM reports more granular and allow clients to more accurately troubleshoot end-user problems.
