Construction Specialties Earns Top Honor for Innovative Product Line

(CS), a leading manufacturer of specialty building products, received a Nightingale Award at the 2016 Healthcare Design Expo & Conference for its Acrovyn® Wall Panels. The Nightingale Awards were presented by Contract and Healthcare Design magazines in partnership with the Center for Health Design. Acrovyn Wall Panels earned the Gold award in the Clinical Architectural Products category.
The award was initiated in 1990 and named after Florence Nightingale, a pioneer of modern nursing. It recognizes an outstanding product’s contribution to creating a healing environment. The judging process requires a 12-member panel of seasoned healthcare design professionals and healthcare facility managers to choose the winning selections based on each product’s contribution to a healing environment, including its functionality, quality, durability, aesthetic, style, and innovation. Jurors visit the exhibitors’ booths before the show floor opens at the Healthcare Design Expo and Conference to evaluate the entries, examine the products and ask the manufacturers questions.
