Consulco acquires another property in Soho for its syndicated investment fund "Sparta"
Nicosia Cyprus (PRWEB UK) 21 September 2017 -- We are pleased to announce that Consulco Real Estate, our London based affiliated firm of the Consulco Group, has completed the acquisition of another property in Soho, 4 D’Arblay Street. The ground floor and basement retail unit is let to celebrity tailor, Sir Tom Baker, whilst the three upper floors comprise offices which are expected to be let shortly.
The property is located close to Tottenham Court Road station, which provides access to the Central and Northern underground lines. Tottenham Court Road station will shortly open to the Crossrail line that will connect Soho wit Heathrow in the west and the City and Canary Wharf in the east. We expect that visitor numbers to Soho will rise, driving rental value growth.
Consulco Real Estate has acquired this property for its syndicated investment fund, Sparta Capital Properties Ltd.
Sparta has a seven year investment horizon and will invest in central London, commercial real estate properties, taking advantage of acquisition opportunities available because of the Brexit uncertainty. It is currently open to investors with a minimum placement investment of £125,000.
Sparta follows on from the success of Hermes Properties Ltd. Hermes was launched in 2010 and took advantage of acquisition opportunities in the distressed property market conditions caused by the global financial crisis. Hermes return was boosted by the subsequent market recovery as well as active asset management and has produced annual returns of 30 % per annum for the last six years for its participating investors.
David King, Director of Consulco Real Estate Ltd, said:
"We are delighted to have secured this property for our investors. It balances the previous acquisitions and takes us back in to one of our preferred locations."
Marios Hajiroussos, the person in charge of managing the Consulco Group and its business development since 1993, commented:
"Following the success of our Hermes syndicate which has produced annualized returns of 30% since 2011, we hope new and existing clients will join us in investing in this promising portfolio."
