Consulting Magazine Awards Rightpoint for Excellence in Social & Community Investment
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) September 12, 2016 -- Consulting Magazine has named Rightpoint, a leading customer experience agency, as a recipient of the publication’s Excellence in Social & Community Investment Award. The award recognizes the positive impact consulting firms make in social and community causes. Recognized for its pro-bono rebranding strategy and design project with Reading is Fundamental (RIF) Chicago, Rightpoint was one of 18 firms honored during an awards ceremony held last week in New York.
“We are honored to receive this award from Consulting Magazine for our work with RIF Chicago,” said Brad Schneider, co-founder of Rightpoint. “This initiative is just one example of the outpouring of Rightpoint’s ‘Compassion Crew,’ which organizes charitable initiatives year-round to help the communities we serve. I’m extremely proud of the team that helped RIF Chicago in its mission to provide opportunities for every child to learn and love reading.”
Rightpoint’s recognition was an outcome of its first project with EPIC, an organization that gives creative people the chance to use their talent for social good. EPIC paired Rightpoint with RIF Chicago, the oldest and largest children and family literacy organization in Illinois. Rightpoint’s team of designers, developers, writers, and strategists designed a responsive, re-branded website that captures donations and educates donors about RIF Chicago programs and their local impact.
“We had so much support from so many talented people right from the start. When the site was unveiled, we couldn’t contain our excitement. Rightpoint captured every detail of our brand and created a professional site that speaks to all of our audiences in a way that we never imagined,” said Mary Case, RIF Chicago Director of Development and Communication.
Rightpoint’s corporate citizenship program, or “Compassion Crew,” finds opportunities to give back in ways that reflect the spirit and character of Rightpoint. In 2015, more than 80 Compassion Crew volunteers worked nearly 650 hours on charitable projects.
In its third year, The Social & Community Investment Award recognizes firms for partnering with nonprofits, government entities, associations, and private and public sector companies through pro-bono work, significantly discounted work, community outreach initiatives, employee-motivated volunteer projects, and other social and community investment and engagement.
“We often recognize consulting firms that are doing well, and now we want to recognize those firms that are doing good,” says Joseph Kornik, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Consulting Magazine. “Although it’s not widely publicized, the consulting profession does a tremendous amount of pro bono, severely discounted and volunteer work to make the planet a better place. We’re honored to shine a spotlight on these firms’ altruistic efforts each year with this award.”
