Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association Exhibiting at National Girl Scout Convention “G.I.R.L. 2017” October 6-8 in Columbus, OH
(PRWEB) September 19, 2017 -- The Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association (CCSA), a not-for-profit trade association serving the needs of ceramic and paint your own pottery studios and suppliers worldwide, announced today that it will be exhibiting at the National Girl Scout Convention in Columbus, OH from October 6-8, 2017.
Dubbed “G.I.R.L. 2017,” the event will bring together more than 10,000 of the brightest, toughest and most capable girls and women in the world. G.I.R.L. is an acronym for Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, and Leader™.
From its booth in the Hall of Experience (Entrepreneurship Section), the CCSA will spotlight the rapidly growing paint your own pottery (PYOP) marketplace, and provide a hands-on pottery experience. Attendees will also learn how visiting a CCSA-member PYOP studio in their community is an ideal group activity that is both educational and fun, and can also support earning merit badges.
“We are so excited to be part of this event for the second time,” commented CCSA executive director Dena Pearlman. “We also look forward to encouraging these incredible girls and women to consider launching their own PYOP studio in the future, so they can continue making a positive impact in their communities, and enjoy a career experience that is professionally and personally rewarding.”
“When you think Girl Scouts, you might think cookies, campfires and friendship bracelets. And sure, those things are all part of this exciting, life-altering journey, but there’s so much more to it!” reads a page from the event’s website. “Girl Scouts are big thinkers, groundbreakers, and role models. They design robots, start garage bands, and improve their communities—and yes, they sell the best cookies on the planet. Every day, Girl Scouts unleash the power of G.I.R.L. to make amazing things happen.”
