Contest Draws Unique Submissions
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Whether a sign of desperate times or merely a generation that is willing to do just about anything for some easy money, a contest held by new, social sharing site nosh-t.com is bringing out interesting attempts for one of the thousand dollar cash prizes. The contest – What Would You Do For $1000 – is drawing some early attention with submissions recently added to the site. Two contestants have tattooed the company's logo on their body, showing support for the new site in a very permanent way.
“We assumed we would get some crazy and funny submissions, but never thought someone would actually tattoo our logo on their person, let alone two people,” Nick Jones, Founder of nosh-t.com said. “It's awesome! That kind of fan loyalty so early in our existence is a sign of what we have to look forward to.”
“I really like the site. And when I saw the contest I figured I could use some extra cash,” Jason Holloway, one of the contestants that tattooed the logo said. “I'm a tattoo artist and thought it would be pretty funny to tattoo their logo on my leg. Kind of an homage to an old apprentice tat I already had there. When my buddy, Brandon, saw it he asked me what it was. I told him about the site and the contest. A few days later, he came back to me and had me tattoo the logo on his leg. We figured we had a better chance with two tattoos instead of one!”
The contest promises five, $1000 prizes to the submissions with the most likes by November 22, 2013 – just in time for the holiday season. Rules of the contest are basic, and simply ask, what would you do with the company's logo for a monetary prize. Early submissions include a banner at the Dodgers/Cardinals playoffs game projecting a win for the Dodgers with the website logo, a company banner being held at a football game for a Nevada university, the site's logo stickers used in a variety of photos and, most recently, two tattoos. The contest has been live since October 7, 2013 and uploading is allowed until November 11, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Voting continues until November 21, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. PST at which times the winners will be announced and prizes awarded in time for holiday shopping.
“We are very much looking forward to what others will come up with between now and the end of the contest,” Jones added. “I'm almost afraid to ask if someone can top a tattoo of our logo.”
