ConteXtream’s Sharon Barkai Featured in Two Panel Discussions at Software Telco Congress
Mountain View, Calif (PRWEB) January 27, 2015 -- ConteXtream, a leading provider of carrier-grade network virtualization solutions, today announced that Co-Founder Sharon Barkai will be speaking at TMC’s Software Telco Congress on Thursday, January 29, at the Miami Beach Convention Hall. This year’s Software Telco Congress will focus on how NFV and SDN are changing the telecom industry by examining how they help incumbent providers become more agile and adapt to market trends. They will also look at how carriers can handle subscriber demands more effectively, while also opening up the market to new players without requiring them to develop expensive proprietary hardware.
Sharon will be participating in a breakout session titled “New Network Management and Orchestration Rules for SDN & NFV,” where he will be speaking on the new management and orchestration requirements in a software-centric network, and how it will be possible to bridge the gap between the physical and virtual. Following that session, Sharon will be discussing issues surrounding the role of service chaining in driving SDN adoption in a second session titled “Is Service Chaining the Key to SDN/NFV Success?” This will focus on the use of virtualized services on commercial off-the-shelf servers in place of network hardware, and how they create not only more cost effective networks, but are also more efficient in terms on moving data through the infrastructure between endpoints.
