Contract Research Organization WCCT Global Announced the Philippines Typhoon Relief Initiative Raised over $15,000 by Clinical Trial Participation
Costa Mesa, Ca (PRWEB) December 31, 2013 -- Due to the recent catastrophic typhoon that affected the Philippines, WCCT Global announced that they would contribute $25 for every person that participated in a study to the American Red Cross to send aid. WCCT Global announced today that over 400 people stepped forward and participated in a clinical trial during the allotted time of November 15th to December 15th allowing them to raise over $15,000. WCCT Global decided to send relief because they believe that the clinical trial industry is in the business of helping others and wanted to send help to those that need it immediately. WCCT Global was very pleased at the amount of response they received from those that took it upon themselves to enroll in a clinical trial. WCCT Global’s Executive Director of Corporate Compliance and Quality, Gary Urban, stated “I am thrilled by the outcome of our relief program for the Philippines. The response we received from our clinical study volunteers was overwhelming and we were moved by the time these individuals took out of their lives to send aid to the Philippines.” WCCT Global is focusing on making a difference in the world by not only being a Full Service CRO to help advance medicine, but to make a difference in people’s lives every day.
