Convaid R82 Embarks On Traveling Education Roadshow

TORRANCE, Calif., Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Expanding educational programs to dealers, physical therapists, occupational therapists and caregivers is high on the priority list for Convaid | R82 in 2018.

The inaugural educational initiative for the company is a 6-month roadshow that brings former R82 Managing Director and Early Intervention advocate, Kieron J. Slocombe out of semi-retirement and out in the field across North America where he will spend one week in each of the Convaid | R82 service territories.

The Convaid | R82 educational in-field roadshow will be supported by an aggressive schedule of webinars and other live educational events, many for CEU credit, by thought-leaders in pediatric seating and mobility.

The veteran seating and mobility expert said that outcomes of earlier use of R82 seating and mobility products have been "nothing short of life-changing" for many of the families he has touched over his career. During his North American tour, Mr. Slocombe will discuss clinical applications and provide hands-on demonstrations of R82 seating, walking, standing and gait-training solutions in the relational frame of each product's all-day, whole-life and condition-specific applications.

Mr. Slocombe has spent over 30-years as a vocal and visible advocate of Early Intervention where he worked closely with the British Health Trades Association, UK government and other stakeholders to help bring the age of first treatment of special needs children from five years of age down to three months.

The Convaid | R82 educational tour will kick-off in Northern California on January 22, 2018 for a week centered in the San Francisco Bay area followed by:
