Converge Consulting Debuts Inbound Marketing for Higher Education Book and Inbound 2.0 Presentation at AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) November 04, 2014 -- Converge Consulting will champion inbound marketing for higher education at the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education on November 10-13, 2014, in Austin, Texas. The firm will debut their inbound marketing book for higher education at the event and President Jay Kelly will present an Advanced Marketing Session on inbound marketing.
Converge Consulting will release the first inbound marketing book written specifically for higher education, Memorable Marketing, Measurable Results: What’s New and Next in Higher Education Marketing. The book will be available for purchase at a special AMA rate at booth #13.
“I've been waiting for someone to write a book on the shift in marketing for higher education for quite some time now. Converge nailed it,” said Matthew Fradette, Sales Manager at Hubspot. “There is a massive opportunity for educational institutions to embrace the fundamentals of inbound marketing to drive enrollments and I'm happy to see them specifically drawing attention to it. This book does a great job simplifying the key areas of opportunity while providing suggestions and examples that are easily repeatable and proven strategies that will impact school enrollment.”
Also at the AMA Symposium, Converge Consulting President Jay Kelly will present the Advanced Marketing Session 6 with co-presenter William Hartley, Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Dallas. The presentation, Inbound 2.0: A Journey to What’s New and What’s Next in Inbound Marketing, will be on Thursday, November 13 at 8:15 AM and provide examples and details of how to future-proof marketing efforts using the four pillars of inbound marketing: web analytics, search engine optimization, content strategy, and social and paid media.
“As inbound marketing thought leaders and Hubspot partners, we are major advocates for the proven inbound methodology in the higher education space,” said Ann Oleson, CEO of Converge Consulting and member of the AMA Symposium 2014 planning committee. “Our firm is passionate about helping institutions make meaningful connections with the right potential students and donors. The AMA Symposium is an ideal opportunity to get these successful strategies in front of higher education marketers.”
Converge Consulting will also be exhibiting at the event in Austin at booth #13. The event will be held at the Hilton Austin in downtown Austin, Texas, just blocks from the famous 6th Street District, Warehouse District and 2nd Street District.
