Convoy of Hope Coming to Oahu, Hawaii
Honolulu, Hawaii (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Convoy of Hope will make two stops on Oahu on Saturday, July 27 at Aloha Stadium and the Kapolei Fairgrounds and will provide a day of free goods and services. The community celebration is one of many Convoy of Hope will host in 2013 throughout the United States. The tour recently made a stop on Molokai, where nearly half the island’s population attended.
What: A free community event offering $1 million in free goods and services including groceries, haircuts, dental check-ups, health services, workforce development services and more.
Why: Provides opportunity for local community members to share hope and tangible help with neighbors in a spirit of honor and dignity.
Who: Convoy of Hope, National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), community of Honolulu and Kapolei and numerous local businesses, organizations and churches. NBCF will provide education, support and early detection services to underserved women in the community.
When: Saturday, July 27, 2013, Gates open at 10 a.m. (Rain or shine)
