Coppell Independent School District (TX) Partners with InfoSnap for a Flexible Online Solution with Customized Reporting Capabilities to Enroll and Register Students
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) March 25, 2015 -- Coppell Independent School District (TX) will implement a customized online solution for new and annual student registration, inclusive of appointment scheduling and advanced reporting tools. The 11,600 student district partnered with InfoSnap to design, develop, and deploy an innovative solution to streamline student registration through seamless integration between InfoSnap and Coppell’s student information system, eSchoolPLUS.
“Prior to InfoSnap, our district had an online solution in place that wasn't flexible to our needs. It was a limited system that didn't provide our district with the proper infrastructure for an efficient registration process,” said Stephen McGilvray, Director of Technical Services at Coppell.
The online solution from InfoSnap will provide families with an effective method that allows them to enroll and register their child/children at their own convenience. Families who have more than one child within the district can ‘snap’ data from one student to another. The use of SmartForm™ technology, an intuitive tool built into the solution, will collect relevant data based on previously entered information or choices (grade, activities, medical history, etc.).
Coppell ISD wanted a solution that was flexible, intuitive, and easy to alter when changes to their business process were required. “Although we had an online solution, we were still collecting a lot of paper forms. InfoSnap will eliminate the step of filling out duplicate information for various groups and organizations within our school district,” said McGilvray.
The data submitted by families is reviewed, polished, and formatted to meet Coppell’s policies and then delivered into the district’s eSchoolPLUS student information system, which will modernize the existing workflow for administrative staff. Coppell ISD will also encourage the use of InfoSnap’s Appointment Scheduling which allows families to choose an available time slot for registration appointments.
“We’re excited to launch our solution and utilize the reporting and communication tools that InfoSnap will offer. Our administrative personnel will be able to identify records that meet certain criteria using tags and track specific groups of students to generate reports for different departments.
