Coronation Street Star Sol Heras Opens New Showroom for Altitude Aluminium
Chester, Cheshire, UK (PRWEB UK) 12 August 2013 -- Altitude Aluminium, authorised designers, suppliers and installers of Schuco and Reynaers aluminium bi-folding and sliding doors and aluminium windows were thrilled when Coronation Street star, Sol Heras, agreed to open their brand new showroom in Chester.
Sol, who plays Ryan Connor in the popular soap opera, and his partner Emma, chose Altitude Aluminium when working on a new project at their home at the start of 2013.
When Sol and Emma first contacted Altitude Aluminium they were considering a set of sliding doors as the main feature to the rear elevation of their home but given the span of the opening in question various scenarios between aluminium sliding doors and bi-folding doors were looked at and the final decision was made – aluminium bi-fold doors.
Sliding doors are a great feature to a property where there is a desire for minimal sight lines and fewer interruptions to your view. When opened they don’t protrude inside or outside of the property, they stack neatly behind the fixed element of the opening. The down side to sliding doors is that there will always be an element of the area that remains fixed (i.e. it can't all be open at the same time).
Sol and Emma enjoy entertaining and have a beautiful open plan Kitchen which they wanted to incorporate and ‘bring to the party’ whenever they have guests, so their decision was to go for aluminium bifold doors enabling the entire span to be opened, seamlessly joining the beautiful interior to the outdoor entertaining area.
