Corporate Whistleblower Center Urges Insiders at Well-Known Companies To Call Them About Reward Programs If They Possess Proof Of Overbilling The Federal Government
(PRWEB) December 18, 2013 -- The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "Companies both large and small provide a wide range of services and products to the government, from consulting services to software to food and everything in between. Unfortunately, because there are few policies in place to validate billing, or the quality of the service some of these companies knowingly defraud the government by overbilling for their services or products, and we always encourage insiders with proof of this to call us anytime at 866-714-6466.
For example, the United States recently joined a whistleblower suit against the Gallup Organization, a market research company widely recognized for its polls. According to the lawsuit, Gallup allegedly violated the False Claims Act by allegedly overbilling and inflating estimates in their contracts with the US Mint and the State Department. The lawsuit alleges Gallup kept two sets of books, one internally with the accurate estimates of hours required, and allegedly one that had inflated cost estimates that was used to bill the government higher contract prices. The whistleblower in this case was a 27-year-old former employee. http://CorporateWhisteblowerCenter.Com

Simple rules for a whistleblower from the Corporate Whistleblower Center:
- Do not go to the government first if you are a major whistleblower. The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, “Major whistleblowers frequently go to the federal government thinking they will help. It’s a huge mistake.”
- Do not go to the news media with your whistleblower information. Public revelation of a whistleblower’s information could destroy any prospect for a reward.
- Do not try to force a government contractor, or corporation to come clean to the government about their wrongdoing. The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, “Fraud is so rampant among federal contractors that any suggestion of exposure might result in an instant job termination, or harassment of the whistleblower. Come to us first, tell us what type of information you have, and if we think it’s sufficient, we will help find the right law firms to assist in advancing your information.”
- The Corporate Whistleblower Center wants to emphasize there are high quality potential whistleblowers in every state.
