Couple discovers secret behind ‘The Anna Quilt’
GEORGETOWN, Calif. (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 -- GEORGETOWN, Calif. – Can a quilt hold a secret? Author Donna Bender Hood thought it would be interesting if it did. In her newest novel, “The Anna Quilt” (published by Xlibris), an ugly quilt takes center stage when it turns out to hold a secret that makes it a thing of great value.
When Gus Compton died, he left behind an unbreakable trust regarding the old Compton house, the surrounding land and the beautiful lake. The Anna quilt has hung in the house for so many years that no one remembers Anna or when the quilt first arrived. Besides, it is old, poorly stitched and really rather ugly. Everyone bickers over the properties, but no one wants the quilt, which is a big mistake.
This book weaves an exciting tale where a couple discovers some surprises along their way to love that leads them to the secret of “The Anna Quilt.” It is a love story with a dash of family intrigue and some mystery, but overall, it is a book that Hood simply means to give readers a fun and entertaining read.
