Coverys Announces Award to HAVEN Healthcare Professionals Assistance Program
Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 13, 2015 -- Coverys, a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance and related services, announced a grant of more than $49,000 to the Health Assistance Intervention Education Network, Inc. (HAVEN) through the Coverys Community Healthcare Foundation, Inc. HAVEN, based in Southington, Connecticut, provides confidential assistance to healthcare professionals facing chemical dependency and emotional and physical illnesses.
The grant will further HAVEN’s efforts to support and monitor health professionals as the number of referrals to the program increases. HAVEN is committed to educating and supporting healthcare professionals in a discrete and responsible manner. With this funding, HAVEN will ensure that more healthcare professionals have confidential access to the support they need in order to continue providing excellent medical care to their patients.
